Today was Saturday. All I did today was work on my assignments nonstop.

I woke up around 12 pm. Then I worked on my Internet Assignment 2 and Java Programming Assignment 2.

Progress didn’t go smoothly, and I found myself scrolling on my phone from time to time.

In the evening, I had a one-hour call with my wife. She has the day off tomorrow. Good for her.

Hopefully I will finish my assignments efficiently tomorrow.

My alarm went off at 8:00 am, but I hit noose immediately. When I woke up again, it was already 8:50 am. The first lecture started at 9:00 am, so I rushed to the classroom.

During the break of the first lecture, I grabbed a flat white for breakfast.

After two lectures and one tutorial, I headed to the golf club to practice golf with my friend Zishan.

In the evening, we went to a bar and had a pint of beer.

    It was a great day.

In the morning, I went through the slides for Java Programming lecture.

In the afternoon, I left home two hours before the lecture. I spent that time on the uni grounds, walking and enjoying the sunlight.

After that, I attended the Java Programming lecture. Then I headed back home and cooked chicken drumsticks for dinner.

In the evening, I went through the slides for tomorrow’s Internet and Algorithm lectures.

    It’s been a busy day.

In the morning, I prepared tutorials for Database and Java Programming.

In the afternoon, I received an email, saying that the grade for the Java Programming Assignment 1 had been released. Then I went to Ed website to check my feedback, but I couldn’t access it. I asked my classmates, and one of them had the same issue. I didn’t feel too nervous. After that, I attended two tutes on time.

After the two tutes, I had dinner with two classmates. Then I helped one go through his assignment 1. He might be accused of AI misuse, so he needs to provide evidence to prove that he didn’t. He was really worried.

Then I headed back home, another classmate came over. And he also had minor issues regarding AI misuse. We talked for almost two hours at my place. By the time he left, I was already exhausted.

Before I went to bed, I called my wife and chatted with her for a while.

    Goodbye, world!

In the morning, I attended the final AET class, where I learned the fundamentals of academic English writing. I felt sleepy because I only got five hours of sleep last night.

After that, I joined the Melbourne Talk session, another activity to practice my English. Although I didn’t feel like going, I went anyway. I was proud of myself for that.

In the afternoon, I had a two-hour Database lecture. During the class, I answered two questions raised by the lecturer.

In the evening, I called my mum and my cousin. My mum is having surgery next week, and my cousin will help out.

At the end of the day, I spoke with my wife to discuss my mum’s upcoming surgery.

My throat is still a bit sore, and I’m still getting over a cold I had a few days ago.

    It’s been a busy day.

    Goodbye, world.

In the morning, I went over some English vocabulary.

In the afternoon, I attended English Conversation Corner at St Pauls Cathedral. The topic was trust. Afterwards, I went to Woolworths supermarket to buy groceries, including beef steak and milk. Then I cooked dinner at home.

In the evening, I went through slides for Algorithm and Internet subjects to prepare for tomorrow’s lectures.

It was a busy but positive day.
